Product Description

Our repair kit will allow you to repair the commonly broken plastic components within the DISA intake adjuster on 3.0 BMW petrol engines M54 M56. The cracked plastic components will be replaced with machined aluminium components that are anodised for additional corrosion protection. The fitted parts will last a lifetime, you can be assured you will never have to repair your DISA valve again. The common fault of the unit rattling, clicking, fault codes P1083 P1085, P1090, P1092, P1087, P1089, P0311, P0316 and an Engine light should be eliminated.

Problem

Parts of the disa valve are made from inferior quality plastics. Over time, the bell crank lever wears out, leaving the unit in a state of disrepair. The disa unit will rattle when the engine is running on idle. This can be confirmed by unplugging the disa valve to check if the rattle goes away. A faulty disa valve will cause poor engine performance.
