Problem
The throttle actuators contain plastic gears that wear out over time, causing play in the mechanism triggering fault codes. A message on the dash may show start failure and reduce engine power.

Solution
Our strengthened self lubricating gears are designed to last the age of the vehicle. The gears are manufactured from brass and Delrin. The gears are designed and tested for the application. The gears are supplied ready to install, and the shaft is pre-fitted for your convenience. You aren’t required to do any drilling or cutting with our kit. Each kit will repair one actuator; we recommend replacing both at the same time.
